Spent 5 weeks trying to get one simple permit for my brother's shop on 6th Ave
My brother opened a small woodworking shop off 6th Ave and needed a sign permit, which I figured would take a couple days at most. It took 5 weeks, 3 trips to City Hall, and one lady at the counter who finally admitted the form I kept refilling had been wrong on their website since 2019. Has anyone else run into a permit snag here, and is there a person at the city you call to skip the runaround?
