Got a letter last month saying my booth fee at the Amarillo flea market jumped from $40 to $75 a weekend, anybody else hit with this?
I sell candles and soap out at the flea market on Plains Blvd and have had the same booth for almost 3 years, always paid my $40 on time, never once had a complaint. Last month I get this letter saying fees go up to $75 starting in June, no meeting, no warning, just a letter. That is almost double, and for what? The roof still leaks over aisle 4 every time it rains. I asked two other vendors and one guy selling boots said his went up the same amount, but a lady with a jewelry table said hers only went to $55, so I do not even know how they are deciding this. If you rent a table out there, check your mail and go talk to the office before June, because nothing was posted anywhere I could see. Did anybody get a straight answer on why some booths went up more than others, or is it just me?
