Serious question, my aunt in Tucson told me to stop defrosting chicken on the countertop after 12 years of doing it
The tip off was her meat thermometer reading 41 degrees on the outside while the inside was still frozen solid, so now I want to know if anyone else has been silently rolling the dice with poultry their entire adult life?
