Vent: my neighbor in Red Deer keeps saying fix the grading before the foundation, but my 1958 bungalow has been fine for 66 years
He walked over while I was reseeding the side yard last Saturday and pointed at my downspout saying 'that water's gonna find your basement one day,' but I've owned this place 14 years with zero seepage, so why would I spend $4,000 regrading now instead of just extending the downspout 3 feet for $40?
