My realtor in Red Deer said skip the home inspection to win the bid, and I almost listened
Back in March we were bidding on a place near Red Deer and lost out twice already. Our realtor kept pushing us to drop the inspection condition to make our offer stronger. I said no and we walked, then found out later that house had a cracked foundation that would have cost around $18,000 to fix. Anyone else had an agent tell them to skip the inspection to get the deal?

Had the same thing happen to us a few years back and we walked too. That realtor works for the sale, not for you, so of course they want the condition gone. Cracked foundation alone makes you glad you held firm.
