The old installer in Reno who swore I'd never need to label a single zone wire
Back in 2019, a guy named Walt who trained me at a shop in Reno told me labeling every zone wire was a waste of time and to just trust the panel's memory. Last month I spent 2 hours pulling new wire because a basement motion and a garage door contact got crossed, and the homeowner was standing right there watching me trace it. How do you all keep your zone wires straight on a 16 zone panel without taking forever?
