A thunderstorm in Phoenix made me change my torque wrench habits

Back in 2019 I was doing a preflight on a 737 at Sky Harbor. It was 115 out and the sky went dark fast. I had just torqued a row of bolts on an access panel when the rain hit. By the time I got back to the cart, that brand new digital wrench was reading 12 foot-pounds off on a retest. My lead said "electronics and humidity don't mix, kid." He was right. Now I keep a manual beam wrench in my box for anything near the APU or in wet weather. Anyone else ditched digital after a weather event messed with a readout?
