Just realized my chickpea skepticism for the air fryer was off
They crisp up so well, I might ditch store bought snacks for good.

Lol, my friend air-fried chickpeas and got totally hooked.

My last batch of chickpeas came out weirdly soggy in the middle. I followed a popular recipe that said to coat them in two tablespoons of oil first. Maybe that was way too much oil for the air fryer to handle properly. They never got that dry, crunchy snap you want from a good snack. I still prefer roasting them in my regular oven on a sheet pan for even results.
